The Euromillions draw which takes place tonight in Paris at around 8.30pm GMT is a double rollover, due to there being no ticket holder to match all five numbers and two Lucky Stars for the last two draws. The jackpot is an estimated €34 / £27 million, and has not been won since 10th August 2012, when the now famous Adrian and Gillian Bayford scooped the second biggest Sterling Euromillions jackpot of £148 million. Their win is second only to Chris and Colin Weir’s huge £161 million jackpot win back in July 2011. But you may be surprised to hear that winning tonight’s jackpot will comfortably give you wealth to match that of a celebrity!
Although the jackpot tonight has not yet reached the epic proportions of the Weir’s or the Bayford’s, winning the £27 million would still make you richer than Adele (£20m), and would give you a bank balance to beat that of Cheryl Cole (£12m), Paolo Nutini (£8m) and Florence Welch (£7m) combined!
It would also put you on a par with actress Emma Watson, who has amassed a fortune of £26m by starring in a massive eight Hollywood blockbusters – the Harry Potter series, of course. It is unreal to think that by buying one ticket you could immediately have the same wealth as someone who has spent 10 years learning scripts, acting and touring the globe in order to accumulate their fortune!
If you fancy the opportunity of having wealth to match some of our best known actors, actresses and musicians, then why not take the short cut and try your hand at netting that Euromillions jackpot? Just ensure you have your tickets ready in time for the draw tonight – remember, ticket sales will close at 7.30pm promptly, and who knows; tomorrow you could be handing in your notice and picking out your dream sports car – which you will need of course to drive you and your family to dinner at the Ivy!
